This inspirational quote is dedicated to the beautiful young lady, Michelle Goetz that I read a story about a couple of days ago. It is my understanding through a Facebook statement from a classmate that Michelle shared a similar quote the same evening before she passed away in her sleep. This is what she shared:
This quote tugged on my heart strings for a lot of reasons. Unfortunately, I have never had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful lady. However, these pics that were shared of her in her memory from a mourning friend of her loss suggested she was a vibrant 45 yr old woman that enjoyed her life to the fullest.
At 39 only a few months before my 40th birthday, I was blessed to have another chance at living life after having a massive heart attack. Unfortunately, this young women’s life was taken too soon and in my heart I know that God must have had another plan for her the same as he must have a plan for me to continue living my life on a path I have no idea will lead me.
We are not promised tomorrow and this story of this young woman has validated why I live the life I love to the fullest everyday. Not only was I blessed with another baby girl exactly a year from the date I had my massive heart attack with a man who had never been blessed to have a child, I was able to see my oldest daughter graduate from both high school and college I also stood along side her as she married the love of her life. I have also watched my oldest son graduate from high school and work along side his dad in their auto repair business and have been blessed to watch my youngest son walk in their footsteps as he continues his education, plays basketball, and enjoys life with the big boys. Everyday I am thankful for all of these blessings and so much more.
Since coming back to life after a very long struggle of health issues I am living the life I love. There are days without a doubt that I’m sure people question why I try to fill so much in one day. Trust me when I say if I can’t live my life exactly the way I feel I’m getting the most out of it than I’m not living the life I love. It may not always be fair of me to forget the past and not concern myself with the future to live in the moment. However, I live to fully embrace the moment that is important to me with unconditional love and happiness no matter what the situation may be.
Even though I’m uncertain of where my path is heading most of the time it is my honest belief to think that it was meant for me to be here to help wherever and whenever I can on my way through this path of life. I embrace life with a passionate hold in hopes that one day I leave anyone that has crossed my path with something that helps them to remember also that life is a gift and like any gift given you should love it and appreciate all that it is and enjoy it with every moment you are given.
Just another little inspirational note from LauraLee to remind you to Live the Life you Love as we are not promised tomorrow.
